Dental Insurance with Emerald Coast Dentistry
Our office has always been happy to work with patients covered by dental insurance. It’s very rare that a dental plan covers 100% of our fees. As a courtesy to our patients, we will gladly assist you in filing your PRIMARY dental insurance claim. Please bring the necessary information with you to your appointment.
The fees we charge for dental services are the same for every patient, insured or not. A given insurance policy, however, is based on a fixed fee schedule – “usual and customary” – that the insurance company determines.
However, please remember that your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. If your insurance company will not pay us directly, we will be happy to file your insurance, but we require payment for services in full at time of treatment. If your insurance company will send us payment, then we will file for you and YOU will be responsible for a co-payment at each appointment for services rendered. If the insurance company pays less than we have estimated for your services you will be responsible for the account balance.

- This plan is not insurance
- Benefits valid for 12 months
- Non-refundable annual membership
- Failure to complete included routine preventive visits during the membership year will result in a missed appointment fee
